Over the years your appliance door hinge can become loose and worn which could result in your door not closing properly. This will allow cold air from your appliance to escape, making it work harder to keep your food cool.

Alternate Door Hinges by Technic

In April 1997 an alternative door hinge, manufactured by Technic, was introduced on under worktop integrated refrigeration products. This replaces the original hinge manufactured by Hettic.

The hinges can be identified by virtue of the fact that on the later Technic hinge, the bracket to support one side of the decor door is incorporated on the hinge itself. There is a separate bracket attached to the non-hinge side of the door to support the other side of the decor door panel. With the original Hettic hinge, the decor door is mounted on a full width bracket attached to the top on the fridge door panel.

This pack of two hinges equivalent to:
1 x C00144877 TECHNIC Upper Right hand / Lower left hand
1 x C00144878 TECHNIC Upper Left hand / Lower Right hand
